And that means it’s time to reboot my site again. Unlike last year, though, I’m actually a lot more inspired to write this year; I’ve noticed a distinct lack of Gutenberg-related blog posts out there and since lots of blog posts and documentation was one of the things that brought me into WordPress to begin with, I’d like to help correct that.
Unlike last year’s redesign, where I tried and failed to learn Sage, this year’s redesign was built on the Genesis framework and hosted on a DigitalOcean droplet. I used Affinity Designer and Blink Shell on the new 11-inch iPad Pro for the coding and design work, and I drank Clamato and water to fuel my design and development instincts.
I don’t really know a whole lot about drawing (on a tablet or otherwise), but I decided to take a shot at drawing a new logo this year. You can check it out by clicking up on that hamburger button up there on the right. Try and guess what it’s supposed to be…
If you guessed “rabbit”, you’re right! If you guessed something else, there’s a pretty good chance it was a reasonable guess.
So that’s pretty much all there is to say about my new site. Catch me on Twitter if you have anything you’d like to say and keep checking back for cool Gutenberg-related stuff.
